There are thousands of scams and rip-offs on the Internet. I receive several emails per day selling all sorts of pills, ‘investment opportunities’ and other “too good to be true” offers. This site is not one of them.
When we were raising money for my fiance, Su, I tried to be as open as I possibly could. This was never a faceless anonymous site. I filled it with photos of us, our contact details etc. While I carefully trod the fine-line between honesty and privacy, any individual who wished to make a donation but has any doubts were welcome to contact me.
